Brockville – As part of our commitment to keeping our community informed, Julie Caffin, President and CEO, provides updates on the latest news from Brockville General.

• June 1 is National Health and Fitness Day. Today, we celebrate the power of movement and healthy living!
• June is Pride Month. we proudly stand with our 2SLGBTQIA+ patients, staff, and community members. We believe that everyone deserves safe, compassionate, and inclusive care. At Brockville General we are committed to ensuring everyone feels that they belong.
• Our Accreditation Canada survey last week was very positive. Huge thanks to our staff, physicians, volunteers, and community partners for your participation.
• This year’s Smile Cookie campaign raised $52,455.98! Thanks to our local Tim Hortons and generosity of our community, these funds will go towards the purchase of double-sided digital alert signs for our Palliative Care and Rehabilitation units to support better communication and enhance care for our patients and their families.
