Racine Motorsports in Brockville Presents the Annual Merrickville Classic Car Show June 28th

Merrickville – The annual Merrickville Classic Car Show presented by Racine Motorsports in Brockville is being held on Sunday, June 28th, at the Merrickville Fairgrounds.

It runs from 8am to 3pm and includes hourly door prizes, 50/50 draw, great music, and good food and of course all your favourite cars.

It will feature classic cars, trucks, fire trucks, sports cars, race cars, customs and rat rods for this one day extravaganza.

Added will be more toilets, swap meet, t-shirts, long distance award, oldest car award, pinstriping demonstrations, and more prizes for Thunder Alley contest.

General Admission for cool rides only $10 a car load. Walk up spectators FREE.

Featuring:

  • Amphicar visits with Steve and Ozzy
  • Paul Elias pinstriping demonstrations
  • BBQ by the Merrickville Fire Department
  • Fabulous music by Merrickville’s Southbound band
  • Joey and Carole Dube from Joey’s Rod & Kustom are bringing “Hot Wheels Racing” for young ones to win some races
  • Paulo and Shannon Giust are bringing their “Black Betty” record holding Camaro race car for everyone to check out!
  • 50/50 draw in benefit of the Merrickville Food Cupboard
  • Half hourly draws for over $1600 in wonderful door prizes
  • “Thunder Alley” contest for the vehicle with the loudest pipes
  • Vendor spaces for manufactures, vendors, and swap meet entrepreneurs

NOTE: All activities in this event will take place at the Fairgrounds. NO show car parking at the canal or on Main Street.

Schedule – Sunday June 28th, 2026:

  • 09:00 am – Show opens
  • 10:00 am – Vendors open for business and visits
  • 10:00 am – Rob Bassille’s Band start their music
  • 11:00 am – Merrickville Fire Fighters start serving lunch
  • 11:00 am – Paul Elias Pinstripng demonstrations
  • 1:00 pm – “Thunder Alley” contest for the vehicle with the loudest pipes
  • 2.30 pm – Come to the info booth for 50/50 draw, grand prize draws

All Day:

  • Come to the info tent for door prize draws every 30 minutes
  • 50/50 tickets sold to benefit the Merrickville Food Bank at info booth
  • T-Shirts and Dash Plaques and plenty of free Swag

Thunder Alley Exhaust Noise Contest:

They will sound an air horn at 1:00 o’clock to invite everyone with a loud exhaust on their vehicle to come to Thunder Alley, located behind the storage barn on the western side of the Fairgrounds. It will be marked as such!

They will measure the decibels of each street driven vehicle with a sound meter, and the winner with the loudest pipes will win $100. Second place is for $50.

Contest will last one hour! If you need hearing protection wear it!
