City of Brockville Canada Day Celebrations

Brockville – The City of Brockville will mark Canada Day on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, with a parade, ceremony, and fireworks display.

Canada Day Event Schedule:

  • 11:45 a.m. Parade begins at City Hall and travels to Hardy Park.

Following the parade, there will be a Canada Day ceremony at Hardy Park, including a performance of “O Canada” by local musician Oliver Filion.

  • 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Live music, food, drinks, and family activities at Hardy Park, including face painting, inflatable games, and more.

There will be free cupcakes at the Hardy Park Gazebo right after the Canada Day Ceremonies, (while supplies last). There will also be a Beer Garden and BBQ by 1000 Islands Brewery for purchase in Hardy Park and free ice cream from Nostalgia Street, while supplies last.

All afternoon there will be Boat Rides through the islands with Dive Brockville Adventure Centre, Face Painting with Magic Moments, C&M Ranch Petting Zoo, Princesses from the Fairytale Loft, Inflatable games from Whipit Bouncy Rentals, Summer Curling with the Brockville Country Club and Educational Activities with the Aquatarium.

There will also be a Tall Ships demonstration by the Fair Jeanne on the river starting at 12:15 pm. Live music at the Gazebo Stage will include, Kentucky at 1:00 pm, Ryan King at 1:45 pm and Amanda Keely at 2:30 pm.

There is also a Kids Tent with Magician Chris Pilsworth at 1:00 pm, Dancing with Diego at 2:00 pm and Dr. Rickenstein’s Science Show at 2:30 pm.

The annual Fireworks display at Blockhouse Island begins at 9:45 p.m.

The fireworks barge will begin setup near Blockhouse Island around 5:00 p.m.

Please be aware if you’re on the water and stay clear of the area.
