
Elgin – The Leeds County OPP have charged two Elgin residents after a dispute at an Elgin residence on Saturday, June 20th.
OPP say that officers responded to the incident shortly after 2:00pm on June 20th. Timothy Phillips, 55, is charged with three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, two counts of theft under $5,000 and assault. Monia Jones, 57, is charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police say that both were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on September 25th.
