The Band Celebrates 30th Anniversary on August 15
Brockville – The 30th anniversary of the Brockville Lions Steel Band, now the 1000 Islands Steel Band is being celebrated this year and they are calling on all former members of the band to help celebrate.
“Our 30th Anniversary Reunion is almost here, but we need a few more registrations to make this event happen.” said the band on their Facebook page.
“If you’ve been thinking about coming, now is the time to sign up! Whether you played for one season or many years, we’d love to celebrate the memories, reconnect with old friends, and honour 30 years of steel band music together.”
The registration deadline is Monday, July 20th
The celebration of 30 years is being held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
Every registration helps them finalize plans, so please don’t wait until the last minute. If you know another alumni member who may not have seen this post, please tag them or share it!
