Leeds & Grenville – The Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service had the honour to escort the Tour Paramedic Ride Ontario 2026 (TPR Ontario 2026) through Leeds & Grenville recently during the annual ride.
TPR Ontario 2026 was held from September 18 – September 21, 2026. It is a multi-day cycling challenge to honour Canadian paramedics and raise funds that will help build a national memorial dedicated to paramedics who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
This year they raised $17,586.00.
This monument will stand as a lasting tribute to their dedication, courage, and the sacrifices they made to protect and save others. Every dollar raised will be donated directly to the Canadian Paramedic Memorial Foundation.
They also ride for those who continue to serve while facing the unseen challenges of the profession, helping to raise awareness about the realities many paramedics live with every day.
“It was such an honour to be invited to escort a group of amazing cyclists through the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville,” said Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service on their Facebook page.
Participants rode across Ontario through historic communities, countryside, and scenic waterfront routes along Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River and ending in Ottawa.
