Prescott – The King Street Promenade is being held this Saturday, August 3rd in the Downtown Prescott RiverWalk District and the Prescott Pop-Ups.
It is a Downtown street festival with inflatables, live music, buskers, artists, a special Prescott Farmers’ & Crafters’ Market, and a sidewalk sale with fun for the whole family.
The King Street Promenade runs from 10 am to 4 pm with King Street from George Street to Centre Street and from Centre Street to Edward Street being closed for the event.
It will feature Buskers, Magician Rob Power, Balloon Artist Ian Quick, Sidewalk Chalk Artist François Pelletier Chalk Art, Face Painter Fun to You, and Caricaturist Sioban.
Musicians provided by Upper Canada Folkfest will include, uOther2, Conor Veinotte, Ron Roach, and Arthur McGregor & James Clugston.
There will be an inflatable Slide, Bungee Run, and Zorb Ball Course and interactive sports fun with the Prescott Curling Club and the Prescott Brockville Cricket Club.
As well, as a Touch-a-Truck with Prescott Fire Department, Prescott Operations Department, and more, a Family Game Zone featuring mini-putt, giant checkers, and giant Jenga and a Complimentary Freezie Station, Mural Painting and Sidewalk Chalk Art Zones.
