Brockville – Environment Canada has issued a Rainfall Warning for Gananoque – Mallorytown, Westport & Charleston Lake this afternoon.
Heavy rain at times heavy is expected with showers and thunderstorms. Total rainfall amounts near 50 mm are possible with rainfall rates of 30 mm within an hour.
Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
