Westport – The Westport Rideaus blanked the St-Isidore Eagles 5-0 last Friday in NCJHL action in Westport.
Cole Smith (14 Lukas Hannah) scored the first goal for Westport in the first period. In the second period, there were three more goals for the Rideaus by Liam Simpson (26 Noah Cyr), Evan Rice (8 Cole Smith, 6 Josh Price and Chad Carroll (19 Brock Seed).
Avery MacCuaig (24 Matthew Ullmann, 21 Thomas McLean) would score the fifth goal in the third period of the game.
The Rideaus travel to Vankleek Hill this Saturday to face the Cougars. Game time is 7:30 pm.
