Brockville – This year marks the second year for the Bird Construction Wounded Warriors Hockey Tournament, with all proceeds going towards the Wounded Warriors Society.
The tournament is being held from Thursday, October 31st to Friday, November 1st.
Everything kicks off on Thursday, October 31st at the Keystorm Pub with team registration from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm and an informal ‘Hot Stove’ from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
There will be 6 teams competing and on Thursday night the top fundraising team picks their alumni player for the tournament.
There will be NHL alumni competing in the tournament.
On Friday, November 1st the 6-team tournament starts at around 7:00/7:30 am at the Memorial Centre. Each team is guaranteed 3 games and the top 2 teams play for the championship game around 5:00/6:00 pm.
After the tourney, the participants are back at the Keystorm for a private party with Live music, a 50/50 raffle, a Silent auction, and more.
