
Westport – The Westport Rideaus won a 5-2 decision over the Almonte Inferno in NCJHL action Friday night at the WTC Communications Centre in Westport.
Scoring for the Rideaus were 14 Lukas Hannah (19 Brock Seed) and 24 Matthew Ullmann to give Westport a 2-0 lead at the end of the first.
Almonte would score the lone goal in the second period.
In the third, the Inferno’s 8 Anthony Fiorenza would score the other goal for Almonte while 26 Noah Cyr (19 Brock Seed), 6 Josh Price (18 Ben Peladeau, 24 Matthew Ullmann) and 12 Eric Judson (4 Avery MacCuaig, 6 Josh Price) each would score goals to give the Rideaus the 5-2 win.
Westport travels to Chesterville tonight to play the North Dundas Rockets. The puck drops at 7:30 pm tonight.
