Grenville OPP Partner with Health Unit, UCDSB & CDSBEO in ‘Active School Travel’

North Grenville – The Grenville County OPP is proud to partner with the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Health Unit, the Upper Canada District School Board and the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario for the “Active School Travel” project in North Grenville.

Grenville OPP officers continue to meet with partners to implement the project, which will begin at the start of the next school year.

Signs that encourage walking to school and road safety will be posted throughout the municipality along school routes. OPP members have already been active in those areas with enforcement and education initiatives ahead of the project launch.
