
South Glengarry – The Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal incident involving two small planes.
On Saturday, November 15, 2025, shortly after 11:00 a.m., officers responded to a report that two airplanes had possibly collided north of Martintown in South Glengarry.
One airplane landed safely, while the other was located in a wooded area where the pilot, who was alone in the aircraft, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has been notified and will be taking charge of the investigation.
County Road 20 remains closed, and police are requesting the public to avoid the area.
