
Brockville – Brockville Police responded to the Thousand Islands Secondary School (TISS) on Tuesday as the School was placed into lockdown due to a bomb threat and other possible weapons.
Police say they recieved a call shortly before 11:00 am on Tuesday, May 5th regarding a bomb threat and weapons at the TISS.
The school was placed in lockdown for approximately one hour while police investigated to ensure the safety of all occupants.
Police conducted a search of the school and it was determined that there was no immediate threat, and the lockdown was lifted.
At this time, members of the Brockville Police Service are continuing their investigation.
