Athens – The 39th annual Athens Community Bonfire is set to take place on Saturday, January 11th at Centennial Park/Centre ’76.
There will be free skating at Centre ’76 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, along with free sleigh rides and hot chocolate.
The Torch Light Parade starts at 7:30 pm followed by the lighting of the Christmas Tree Bonfire.
Trees will be picked up in Athens at curbside or you can drop your trees off at Centennial Park.
